The Black Album
"The Black Album" was an evening of three one-acts by seminal playwrights of color whose work changed the face of the American Theatre and opened doors to future, diverse generations of writers. Plays included Funnyhouse of a Negro by Adrienne Kennedy, Dutchman by Amiri Baraka, and Day of Absence by Douglas Turner Ward.
The White Album
"The White Album,” One Acts was an acknowledgment of those early seminal American playwrights whose work changed the face of the American Theatre, now performed by actors of color. Plays included Clara by Arthur Miller and Hello From Bertha by Tennessee Williams.
